Bruno came to us when his owner could no longer care for him.  He loves to play but he is strong and plays rough (not mean, just hard). He would do okay with a very submissive dog but not another dominant male. He does not like being left outdoors alone for long periods of time (imagine that) and will jump anything less than a 6' privacy fence.  He wants to be included in your activities and become part of the family as an inside dog with outside privileges.  We had to have surgery on his eyelid when he was surrendered at 8 mos old with a large tear from when he was chained up by his owner.  He has overcome that now and does very well in a fenced yard although he really should be inside and part of the family where he is most happy and contented with good behavior to follow.  He's very loyal and appreciative when given a chance.  Loves to snuggle on the couch with you.
We have also had him fully vetted and current on shots.  Bruno needs a home where his owner has time to spend with him especially someone who is active and will comit to at least walking him daily.  He would be thrilled to be with an active person who would take him hiking, running, etc.  BRUNO IS NOT AN APT DOG. He will jump a fence out of boredom but he does not stray - he simply wants out to go for a walk - with or without you.  He's a good boy in spite of all he has been through and he loves being a lap dog. Wary of men at first but warms up quickly. He is very loyal, lovable, smart and good natured.
