Butler is a small Border Collie mix
We were contacted about this poor dog that lived in a muddy pen and his owners did not have the means to care for him. I have learned that Butler(who has never had a name before) has lived in a 6 by 6 pen for 6 years.. Think about those numbers.... He has never been on leash and was scared to death when the person who contacted us (his guardian angel, his voice) got him out of the muddy prison. He was taken to Cornerstone Animal Hospital and his journey to a good life began. Butler is blind, skinny, was shaking his head in pain with an ear infection, and lonely. Butler is now toasty warm and in loving hands at his foster home. Once he is stronger, he will see an opthamologist and eventually will be neutered. I would love to know what he is feeling right now.
