If you can lob a tennis ball, Amos will be your friend for life! His fun loving play style has made Amos a hit at the dog park plus he travels well in the car. He'd suit an active person or family who wants an outgoing and friendly companion. He may enjoy other dogs but he bonds strongly with his humans and would thrive in a single pet household. Amos is so smart, loving and eager to please. At the end of the day, Amos wants nothing more than to cuddle with the people that he loves most. He is possessive of his food and needs to eat alone and undisturbed; plus keep your trash secured!

Full Disclosure: Amos does have a Non-Aggressive bite on his record. A boy and his dog were playing and the boy went in for a hug (a no-no for all kids!). Heeler's tend to be mouthy but non-aggressive and because of this unfortunate accident he needs a home with NO CHILDREN. A waiver will need to be signed when adopting that you know he has a bite on his record.
