Iris
Iris

Hi everybody, So sorry I took so long to get an update of Iris to you, but here she is. Iris is doing very well. She slowly is getting her hair back and as you can see she has been groomed and looking great. She loves her bed in our bedroom and gets along with our other dog, Baylie, very well. More and more the Westie in her is coming out and she is so fun to play with. Thank you for letting us adopt her. She is really my little girl. Please post this so everyone who was asking about her can see that she is in a good place now. Janet Gunderson

Winston
Winston

Here is a current photo of Winston. He is afraid of the camera so he usually runs from it but this time I had ham in my hand while I took this. The ham seemed to work. His ears normally are flopped over like a collie but the camera has him a little nervous so his ears are back. I have to share something so cute about him. Every morning he gets up with the kids for school & he waits with them at the bus stop (2 houses up) he then runs back inside as soon as the kids are on the bus. He loves it!!! He is 65 lbs. now and ALL BOY!!! Kim

Jack cb
Jack cb

Jack is a special dog who was rescued from a hoarding situation through Cheatham County Animal Control. Proverbs rescued around 30 of those dogs and Jack is one of the successful adoptions. Below is a note from the new adoptive parents! I just wanted to send a picture of Jack now that he has a new home. He likes to sit on the bed while I am on the computer. He is a little doll. Thanks Linda Trout

Chico
Chico

Chico's foster parents were so happy he found the "perfect" family. He is a "special" dog who found just the "right" family to LOVE HIM. Just wanted to email a photo of us with Max on Thanksgiving. He's doing so well - no potty accidents, the boys love him, and he's very spoiled. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! -The Simpsons

Smooch
Smooch

Smooch is one lucky dog. He was rescued from a hoarding situation affter Cheatham County Animal Control was called and asked to pick up almost 60 dogs. Proverbs stepped in and took around 30 of these animals and they are being placed in wonderful homes. Smooch is one of the LUCKY ones who has found a home. Look how happy and healthy he looks after just a couple days with his new family. NOTE FROM THE FAMILY: Smooch continues to make improvements--on the hour almost. Yesterday morning when I let him out of his crate from the night before, he immediately went up to Bill’s office and got on the sofa. He and Bill hang out up there in their “man cave”. I got him a squeaky toy at Walgreens yesterday, and he picked it up, went upstairs, and got on the sofa in the “man cave”. He snuggled with it like it’s his baby. He and Bill take walks quite a bit. I take him for walks too, but he and Bill take walks to have “guy time”!!
