Layla

August '11 We received several ADORABLE pics of Layla from her adoptive mom - she is in love with Layla, and we can tell Layla is loving her new life! That's what it's all about.

Lexie

(July '11) "Eva (Lexie) from January transport is doing great. She gets in her share of puppy trouble (note picture with porcupine quills) but basically is well behaved – yes we need to work on the come command."

Leona

My Leona…my little fancy pants From puppy mill to the life of luxury!

Lady
Lady

12/8/08 Our latest success story LADY Lady was brought to us found with severe ear infections, untreated. Her ear canals were closed shut. She had burns which appeared to be chemical. She had had no attention at all. I cannot imagine how she endured the pain. Yet she still had the best attitude and loving temperment when we got her. She had to spend a month at Bellevue Animal Clinic where she had to undergo surgery for her ears and have her burn treated. She was loved there and they hated to see her go, but she found a wonderful new home up north. Below is an update from Lady's new family. Dear Lavonne, Lady is an absolute wonder! We are amazed daily at how much spirit and kindness she has considering how horrible her start to life was. It is encouraging to see her eyes light up and catch a sparkle in them now and then. We hope to see a lot more sparkle as she grows to love and trust us. She has made great progress in just a week. Everyone is getting along just fine. Coco and Lady are complete maniacs outside. They run around and play without a care. Today they were playing in the snow and having a blast. Max and Gizmo like to play too but they aren't 'pals' yet. I'm sure they will be soon. Lady only wants some lovin' and she is getting it from all of us. Our two little ones, Sean and Alec, are so good with her and she in turn gives them lots of cuddles and kisses. As soon as Jon or I settle for even 10 seconds she is right there looking for love from us. Here are a few photos of her. As we get more I'll send them on. Thank you so much to you and everyone who has helped you over the years and specifically in bringing Lady home to New Hampshire for us. Best wishes always, Barb PICTURES in healing process
