Hi my name is Cocoa and I was dumped at animal control very pregnant. I slept in my family's bed until the night before, but because they weren't responsible to spay me and didn't want to deal with the consequences of that they left me to have my babies in a cold dark cell.
Thankfully Proverbs 12:10 animal rescue immediately got me and my 9 babies ( Cocoas cupcakes) out of there and into my foster home. I love being with a family so much again that I'm having trouble wanting to stay with my kiddos and feed them. Luckily my foster family had bottles ready to go!!!! I am protective though of my kids and don't want just anyone or any other dog to go near them so my foster mom says I have to stay in the nursery with them instead of with everyone else as I stress.
I need to have a family of my own again. I need to be able to climb into your lap and be hugged! I am trained! I am completely potty trained, even if I have a tummy ache!!!! I sit, stay and heel. I need lots of love though. I don't scratch at doors or tear up stuff. I do bark if I need something. I'm a sheltie mix.
