Meet Moxy, and the girl sure has it!!! She is just the most lovable dog, wanting to give kisses and cuddle anytime, anywhere. She quietly lays her head on your lap.
Weighing in at 45 lbs, she is healthy with a shiny black coat and according to the vet could be a mix of retriever and boxer..but the white paws could mean a little collie there too. Moxy is very smart and quickly learning to sit, stay, and walk on a leash without pulling.
This energetic girl and her 90lb Golden Doodle brother love playing together and Moxy can actually sail right over him; this would probably be a great agility dog. She also tries to play with her little, old fur sibling, but he is having none of it---so Moxy stays in her crate when her foster Mom leaves home. She has had no accidents, but is able to go outside frequently as most days someone is home!
An 8 year old child visited for the day to see how Moxy was with kids and they had a great time running around, playing ball and taking a ride in the car. As she is strong and still learning not to jump when she is excited, it may be a challenge to have her around very young children, although she does calm down quickly.
Moxy loves chasing butterflies, balls and anything that moves plus playing tug of war with her doodle buddy. As she is young, agile, very inquisitive, and can jump high it would be best if her home had a 5-6 ft fence.
Moxy is a happy, loyal, eager to please girl just waiting for an exceptional forever home. This foster Mom loves her so much she would keep her if it wasn’t for already having a limit of two dogs!
