Cuddle-bug Alert! Meet absolutely beautiful Marley! Marley loves to snuggle on the couch and under the covers at night. If you're looking for a dog who falls peacefully asleep beside you while you click "Continue Watching" for the umpteenth time on Netflix, Marley is your girl! This sweet girl LOVES humans but is not a fan of other dogs. She needs to be the one and only fur baby in her new home. She's very loyal and very goofy. She keeps her foster mom laughing all day... when she's not cuddled up and snoring away in dream land. She is crate trained but she's perfectly fine to not be crated while you're gone for the day. She does great on a leash and even likes to "help" walking herself by grabbing the leash. If leash walking is the primary method of potty breaks, she will need someone with a strong leash arm to help reel her in if she sees another dog. A fenced in yard would be preferable. She also has a birth defect that effects her legs towards the end of the day. While she is not in constant pain, soreness towards the end of the day results in her slowing down as the day goes on. With her birth defect, she does need a monthly joint health supplement to help prevent arthritis from kicking in and keep her moving. This costs about $30 a month and goes a long way in terms of mobility for her. She also benefits from daily exercise (i.e. running up and down carpeted stairs a few times, going through the Sit-Stand commands a few times).
