Butternut is a mellow yellow Lab mix - not sure with what, but he definitely has the mild mannered, playful and sweet temperment of a Lab. He's submissive and very eager to please. He was recently rescued just before he was to be put down at a kill shelter "to make room." He is about 4.5 mos. old, crate trained, and almost housebroken. Sleeps on his foster mom's bed all night without any accidents. He's very loveable. Gets along well with other dogs. Loves to lie next to you and be where ever you are. He's a true gem! Weighs 34 lbs. - the perfect dog in the perfect size!
