Claire was born Oct. 15 and her young photo was taken on Nov. 29. Mom is Georgia Peach, a small Black Lab mix, and here is their family story:
We recently rescued Georgia as a stray and her 4 pups from a farmer who said he was going to shoot her if we didn't come immediately. Good thing we did because sweet, protective Georgia had dug a deep hole and that is where she placed her pups except it was about to rain and had we not arrived when we did, her pups would have drowned. Everyone is now safe, cleaned up and adopted except for Claire. Now it is her turn! She is 95% housebroken, very fiesty and energetic who would do well with older kids and another hearty, playful dog. She loves to play with big dogs and Pit bulls - for a while anyhow - loves to run.
