We have several pure bred Bedlington's we rescued from a breeder who is very ill and unable to care for the dogs. The primary photo is after we have cared for Heidi. The other shot is how she looked when we got her. Heidi is the runt of the operation. She seems to be about 9 month old. We have spayed her and provided rabies shots, etc.. She had a severe ear infection that may cause some hearing damage (we wont know until she is off her meds), was severely matted and covered in feces and urine. Lacerations on her neck and an old maggot infested wound on her neck. Like most of the others, Heidi is on antibiotics for her wounds, ear infection and medcal baths. Heidi and Hugh are brother and sister and are very rambuncious and happy to be alive. Both will play and play.
Heidi's wound must heal before adoption - early November. Due to her neck injuries she still needs to be groomed on her head and neck. Crate trained, about 75% potty trained and doing well with leash manners. She'll be a wonderful, gorgeous girl in just a matter of time.
