Pearl was evidently dumped on rural farm property and discovered and taken in by the landowner who writes:
"She is a grey merle, one brown eye, one blue about 40 pounds. Lovable, happy, energetic. Loves to play wrestle with my dogs and play tug a war. She is learning to fetch a tennis ball from my Golden and how to herd from my Blue Heeler. She learns quickly. Needs leash training. House broken. Curious about cats but not aggressive. No food agression. Food motivated so easy to train. She stays in the pen. Does not try to escape. Likes to be touching either you or another dog when she sleeps. Learned quickly not to jump on the bed. She very willingly sleeps on her big dog bed. Mimics other dogs. Very submissive. She did have an annoying habit of licking my dog's faces incessantly when we first got her but usually only when she got nervous. As she has gotten more comfortable and she learned the house rules, she does not do this as much."
We are in the process of having Pearl fully vetted.
