Luna was found by her rescuers outside a basketball gym near a busy highway. It was dark, and she was meowing at the glass door begging for attention. When they went out to see her, she rubbed all around their legs and was very friendly, but did have an abrasion on her mouth. She had no ID on her and the outdoor temps were getting down in the 20’s that night, so they brought her home.
Luna is smoky gray female with a large frame and a beautiful long tail. She has a wonderful personality: very laid back, but playful at times too, loving to chase a toy ball or jumping after a stringed toy. She has been wonderful with her rescuers' family, including both their daughters (11 and 14 years old). She also tolerates her rescuers' dog….will run from him if he’s playfully chasing her, but will touch noses and then go on if he’s calmer
.
She loves being petted and having her belly rubbed, and a
lso enjoys sitting at windows and watching outdoor activities. She has been introduced to the other cats in the house and has shown no aggression, so her rescuers believe she'd be fine with other cats.
