Buddy has a big bark and a sweet soul. Although he can be a little shy of new people, especially some men, he warms up quickly. Once he has decided you are a friend, he wants to be near you most of the time, by your side on the floor, on the couch next to you and/or in your lap if you will let him.

He likes to retrieve and go on walks. He is scared of loud noises including thunder. He will need to meet any potential dogs or cats.

We were told there was a child in his previous home but we have not tested with children.  He seems to be housetrained but also has the opportunity to go out often.
