Babs or Becks is really energetic and loving towards all people and dogs. She loves to cuddle up to anyone who will let her, and she is really good at playing but hearing when it's time to calm down. She is a great eater, and is quick to tell when she needs to go outside after eating. She is good with a schedule after about a week. She is enjoying crate time, more, but would prefer to sleep at the feet of someone loving. She is very treat-motivated. She loves to play fetch with tennis balls. She seems to be good with kids from the few interactions we've had with them. She sits every time she waits for treats. She does well with baths, although they aren't her favorite thing. She sleeps very well! Becks loves anyone who will give her the time of day, and if you show her more than that she remembers you and loves you even more!
We are learning how not to jump on visitors and people we want to greet. She does not like squirrels and frantically barks at any she sees. Not necessarily a bad characteristic, but an expensive one--she tears up any toy in minutes, other than Nyla bones, Kongs, and a strong tug-o-war rope.
She loves going on walks! She is good on a leash, but she is best with a harness.
She hasn't been around cats for any length of time, but any she sees out and about she greets gently. She loves playing with other dogs of any size, but she is learning how not to come across too excited for them.
