Black Betty was originally rescued from a shelter down in Athens Alabama by a sweet lady that loved her very much. She has lived with other dogs since she was rescued last summer. Sadly her owner passed away suddenly in her sleep while she was on vacation.

B.B is not a high energy dog but could use regular exercise. She is extremely food motivated like most labs and likes the comfort of the cool indoors during the hot summer months . She would make a great addition to any type of family looking for a constant companion. 

Black Betty is what is called a reactive dog. Here is what you need to know:

I am going to bark. I am going to jump. I am going to tug at the leash. Heck I might even throw in a growl or two to show you just how serious I am.

I am not a bad dog, I just react differently than most, and sometimes need my space.
