Selina was born into the Proverbs family, but sadly returned a few months later. She quickly adapted to her new home and has bonded phenomenally with her foster brothers and sisters. Still young, Selina has a good amount of puppy energy she would love to run off in a yard. But her energy is not overbearing, and she seems, more than anything, to just want to be near her human, constantly hoping for affection. Her fluffiness and sweet demeanor make her the perfect couch snuggler, and she picked up quickly on her crate and house training.
Her reaction to new situations or dogs, like many other dogs, is some fear, which she displays by "acting tough." But knowing that this comes from her uncertainty in the situation, we give her enough time, on her own time, to get comfortable; after which she's wonderful.
Her scrunched up shar pei mix face is probably one of the cutest you'll ever see, and you can read the joy for life she has in her eyes. This girl is so very ready to find a human companion with whom she can bond. Selina will be your best friend and most loyal companion.
