Yellow Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
Lala is a medium sized Golden Retreiver/Lab (best guess) mix at about 40 pounds. She was pregnant and stuck in a high kill shelter before being saved by Proverbs. Lala's puppies have now been adopted and she is ready for a forever home.
Lala is very sweet, but is shy and fearful of new people. She can startle easily at unfamiliar things. Once she gets to know you, she becomes an oversized lap dog. Lala is fully housebroken, and does generally well when left alone. She does sometimes like to chew things when left alone, however. She also loves to look out the window and will knock things over to get her view. Those are her only real negatives, though. She gets along with other dogs and is playful. She should be fine with respectful children.
Lala is moderate energy and enjoys walks, but is still working on her leash manners. She likes being outside for short periods as well but is enjoying the quiet life inside spending time on the couch.
Her ideal adopter would be home much of the day. A fenced yard and another playful dog would be a great bonus.
