'Blazer has been well socialized and is a loving, fun and at times, feisty little guy. He still gets spooked and isn't fond of hands coming at him, but will willingly curl up beside you and purr up a storm. Just look at those spots on his belly!!

During an Adoption Day in June, a concerned citizen came to us and said she had just seen a little kitten run under a vehicle in the far parking of Petco. Folks from the Cat Team spent over an hour trying to coax this little kitten out from under - and then from within - the Chevy Trailblazer where it had sought refuge. Finally, once it had been determined the kitten had crawled up into the engine, our fearless and courageous volunteer Nick stuck his arm deep into the engine's parts and secured a little striped kitten. He was promptly named Trailblazer and became a Proverbs kitten.
