Meet Cooper! He came to us from an older lady that couldn't care for him anymore after she had surgery. You would never know this sweet boy is so young. He is low energy and just wants to sit next to his person all day. He attaches very quickly to people so there is a minimal adjustment period with him. He is very well behaved, completely potty trained, and kennels well, but is well behaved enough that he probably wouldn't need to be kenneled. He is ok with other dogs but would love to be an only child. If you are looking for a sweet, calm companion, but want more years than a senior dog has to offer, Cooper is your man. He will still play with toys and gets excited when you come home, but his wild puppy years are already behind him. He is on the small side, less than 25 lbs so he is an excellent couch companion and would do fine in an apartment.
