Great Pyrenees / Golden Retriever / Mixed : : Female (spayed)
Elsa, is very true to her breed. She will escape and travel miles if not watched. She loves being inside particularly on the couch. She ignores cats. She can be around cats that are accustomed to dogs. She appears to be house broken but is not left loose in the house while I am away. She loves to cuddle, loves loves loves children. She is extremely calm and quiet but has barked a very few times. She doesn’t want to be outside in a fenced yard. She can jump a five foot chain link fence very easily. She walks on a leash but doesn’t linger on long walks. She is very protective of her food and should be fed separately for all meals. She will do a low growl at other dogs to let them know she doesn’t want to play and wants to set up boundaries with other pets. She is not interested in goats or chickens. She is not aggressive nor does she want to chase anything. She is pretty stubborn for any inexperienced dog lover. She will jump in the car and is ok riding in the car. She will not be overly active but may come out of her shell wants she gets settled in. She is now eating dry natural lamb and rice dog food. She can be a picky eater. She would do best as an only dog, she can be protective of her food when other dogs are around. PRIVACY FENCED YARD NEEDED.She would probably do best as an only pet.
