Samson is a full-blooded English Mastiff and has fawn coloring with the typical black mask. He is 3 ½ years old and weighs 175 pounds. Samson has a sweet temperament and loves people. He does need more socialization on as his owner became sick not long after getting Samson as a puppy and was not able to socialize him as much as he should be. The owner’s health has deteriorated and is unable to care for him. Samson is currently in a home with three cats and they get along well. He also gets along well with other dogs-large and small. Samson knows Sit, Stay, Wait, Lay down, Stay out of the kitchen. (The last one is because he wants to be where his owner is.) Samson is good with older kids. He loves little ones too but they can’t be under foot due to his size. He requires a fenced yard. He is leash trained but probably needs some work since the owner has not been able to walk him much. He can tolerate walks but they must be short due to his size. He can remain out of a crate unsupervised for long periods of time. He wants to be where his owner is. He does not jump, climb on furniture or climb stairs. He is playful, affectionate econate, eager to please, intelligent and even-tempered.
