Are you interested in the cutest ever little Pittie?  Meet Shadrach!  He is now about 8 mos old and weighs 29 lbs. This "Pocket Pittie" is not expected to be over 30 to 35 lbs as an adult (no guarantees though).

Shaddrach came to Proverbs from a high kill shelter after apparently being hit by a car.  He sustained a fractured pelvis on the left side and a shattered femoral head on the right.  After a month of crate rest, x-rays showed the femoral head was deteriorating so he underwent FHO surgery. He has now been released from vet care and boy, is he ready to go!  He will have arthritis from the fractured hip from time to time, but with basic care and pain meds when needed he is good to go.  He is currently taking Dasequin and Turmeric daily with Rimadyl and pain meds as needed (usually only when he overdoes it playing with the big dogs).

Shad is working on housetraining and is doing very well.  He loves other dogs and plays hard. He does well with all people and older, considerate children. However, probably not best with young children.  He will chase cats if they run, but doesn't hurt them. He just wants to play!
