Domestic Long Hair : : Female (spayed)
A very sweet, playful, long haired feline. Is happiest when with her catnip banana, or batting around a toy mouse. She unfortunately is part of the one percent of felines that has asthma so will require some extra care. Fragrances, airborne sprays, stressful environment, smoke and outdoor allergens such as pollen should be avoided at all cost in order to avoid an asthma attack. If she does happen to experience a flare up, you will notice her dry heaving quite a lot, and acting very sluggish. This is not a hairball, but her trying to get air as her lungs are agitated and inflamed. A tablet of oral Prednisolone 5mg should be administered to her for seven days at first signs of an asthma attack and she will go back to normal. If kept in an environment with the list above be avoided, she should not experience a flare up.
