My name is Clarence and I am best friends with whomever I meet! I have had a rough life as a stray but that has only made me more loving and affectionate. I adore people and I want to spend all of my time with YOU. I would do best in a home with someone who is home regularly ...ideally someone who works short hours or from home. I spend most of the day snoozing on my back with my legs in the air but I am always up for a good walk, a trip to the dog park, or a nice car ride! My exercise needs are very low as a senior dog with only three legs and all I really crave is a warm home, good food, and attention. I have lived with dogs, cats, and children and have no issues with anyone or anything. I recall off leash and am not really interested in being away from people. Unlike a lot of hounds, I am not really a singer...I will bark to let you know if someone knocks or if there is something strange going on...otherwise, I mainly communicate by grunting in happiness when you scratch behind my ears!
