Sadie is a darling 10 pound yorkie mix estimated to be 8-10 years old.
She was found wandering alone, hungry, hot, and miserable covered with hundreds of fleas and mites. She had demodex mange and a subsequent skin infection; she was covered with sores and scabs; her nails were so long she could barely walk; she had a double ear infection; and an eye infection. A good citizen picked up Sadie and turned her in to animal control who reached out for help after her stray hold was over.
With medical care and lots of love, Sadie is now happy, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a sweet, loving, gentle girl who loves nothing more than being held and cuddled by her people. She is a true lap dog and would be happy to be held by you or sleeping on your lap every minute of the day. She does well sleeping in her crate at night as long as she knows you are close by. She might do best with an adult only household since she is so small. She is fine with other dogs and cats, but really prefers being the star of the show. She knows to go potty outside, but sometimes has an accident. Sadie is on a daily dosage of Proin.
