Misty is a very smart, sweet, submissive Hound mix pup. She is also healthy, playful parvo survivor that loves everyone. She does great with other dogs, but will chase the cat to play with it. While she has not been with kids, her foster mom expects she will find them a great source of fun and exercise.
She is crate trained and nearly housetrained... she just needs to train you to her cues.
Misty knows "leave it" (which usually works
better than "NO") and mostly "quiet.” It might take a couple reminders, recall is about 85 to 90% with praise. She is good on leash but still needs training in this area.
We haven't worked on "sit" or "stay" yet as the other commands were more relevant in her foster home, but expect that will be easy for this girl.
Being a hound mix and always having her nose to the ground a physical fence is required.
