Barkley is scheduled for a dental cleaning on 12/21 at our expense. Those ears!! Barkley is a black/tan Chihuahua, 5 years old, weighing just under 10 lbs. He finds himself in need of a new home through no fault of his own. Unfortunately his person could no longer care for him due to entering into a long term nursing facility. He is alert, bright, and in good health. We consider Barkley to be a medium energy furball. He would love a similar sized friend as a playmate. Barkley has adjusted well to his foster home and has good rapport with everyone he’s met (adults, dogs, and cats). He’s crate trained, does super on a leash, and housebroken, with the usual adjustment period of a new potty schedule. He tolerates baths and nail trims like a pro. Barkley is an absolute sweetheart that would love to have someone special to snuggle for Christmas. Please inquire if you’d like to meet him.
