Hi! My name is Doodle and I want to be your "Doodle Bug!"   I was found in East Nashville where I had a collar embedded in my neck.  It hurt like crazy until my rescuer had it cut off.  In spite of my bad beginning, I've been very lucky because some very nice people found me hiding in the bushes by a construction site and started feeding me.  They owned the construction firm and they had a vet come out and take care of me and get me treated.  I had a really bad stress induced skin condition from my abuse and neglect but that is all clearing up now thanks to them.  (The last two photos show my chin before I was helped and now.) They contacted Proverbs 12:10 who took me in and gave me a lot of love and attention and training too!  I’m trying really hard to learn all I've missed - including how it feels to be loved.  I'd love to impress you with my "sit, shake, lay down, sit up , and stay" although this has been no easy task.  
I also know what "time out" means. I’m very motivated to please you and I hope you will give me the opportunity.  I love playing with my older foster dog sister who is between 5 and 8 years old.  I play until she tires out and then we calm down quickly.  I take correction very well and no one even needs to use those awful choke collars on me!

I am a very very good girl.  I’ll be ready for adoption within the next few weeks after I am spayed (yuk!).  My fosters believe I am  a blue merle Pit.  We don’t’ know if I am mixed with anything or not.  I am 7 months old (July). And did I say I was smart and very friendly and I want to cuddle and be your Doodle Bug?
