Joe is an awesome boy with beautiful amber colored eyes.  We rescued him from a local kill shelter only hours before he was to be put down along with 30 others due to overcrowding. He has not had an easy life and has a couple facial scars to show for it but they should fill in now that he is doing better with us.  He is very well behaved and mild mannered; rides great in the car; obeys commands and always is in a good mood. He really longs to be with a family and will prove a very loyal friend.  He's insistant on being where ever you are and will climb a fence to go to you.  So, if you think he is in your fenced yard and you are inside, check your front door.  We think he was once someone's house dog because we see no reason why he shouldn't be and that is where he is the happiest - inside with you - unless you are outside with him. We've had him fully vetted. He's roughly 1.5 yrs. old (mid-July).
