Green Eyes, also known as, Mamacita ( SEE MY VIDEO BELOW) was found at a medical facility under a house. We were able to get her home and cleaned up. Her fur was severely matted and she was really dirty and had 5 babies. SHE DESPERATELY NEEDS A FOSTER HOME.
Unfortunately, when we had her tested for feline Leukemia and FIV, she tested positive for FIV. Being FIV Positive is NOT a death sentence for a cat. My vet has a cat who tested FIV positive as a kitten and is now 9 years old, healthy, and fat. We had her fully vetted and up-to-date on shots and spayed.
Green Eyes - named because she has beautiful eyes with a yellow outer and green inner coloring of her eyes. She is very sweet and just wants to be loved. She will initially hiss when you walk in the room and when she sees who it is, she will come to you and loves to be held. She will purr as long as you will love on her.
SHE IS A SPECIAL NEEDS CAT: She can only be in a home where she is the ONLY cat. She CANNOT live outside. Even though she is healthy and she cannot spread her disease to you or your dogs, she can spread it to other cats. So this sweet little girl needs to be in a foster or adoptive home home with no cats and can only be an indoor cat.
Because of cat aggressive dogs in the current foster situation - she is living in a bathroom with the door closed - she is very lonely. We try to go up and see her several times a day - but it is just unfair to the poor little girl and she very much needs love and attention.
PLEASE SOMEONE - GIVE HER A CHANCE AT A HAPPY LIFE!
Special Needs: PLEASE SEE MY VIDEO - DON'T PREJUDGE ME!
I AM FIV positive. This means I should an only cat or with cats who don't fight with me and get along with me and I can only live indoors. I am NO DANGER TO YOU OR YOUR DOGS.
It is possible to infect another cat, but only in an extreme fight with a bad, deep penetrating bite.
