Foster update 10/26 - As you can see from the picture, Molly has made herself right to home with her new foster. Note from Foster Mom - 10/31/10 - Molly grows on you in a hurry.  I did not want to foster her and I love animals.  She is a little energetic.  However, I find myself today falling more in love with her everyday.  All of our large dogs are getting older and less active so I thought having an energetic dog would be a change I was not ready for.  However, This dog has a way of looking at you and you melt.  In the kitchen, I have a magnetic toy that makes sounds on the frig for our grandson.  Molly will acidentally knock against it and when it starts talking - she stops dead and starts looking at it while tilting her head from side to side trying to figure it out.  So funny!  At home, if you are sitting in a chair and tell her to "sit"; If she sits and you say good girl - she is in your lap in a leap!  She LOVES to please you.  Someone who likes to go for runs or play in the park would be great with this dog.  She likes the chase of our cat, but has never tried to hurt her.  (We would not leave her alone with her though).  She does fine in a room closed overnight, but really does not like the crate; although is crate trained.  She is housetrained.  She does well with our three other large dogs.  It took a day to get them used to each other.  She thrives on attention from her owners and wants to be the Center of Attention.  She is extremely affectionate and will HUG you (actually loves to hug you).  She is fine with a 14-month-old, 15-month-old, and 4 year old child; however, she is completely unaware of them if she has an adult giving her attention, so there may be times when she "accidentally" will run them over trying to get to the attention or food.  So you need to keep an eye on her with children, but she has NEVER tried to hurt one.  Just disinterested.  A visit or two with a trainer to teach you how to be the "leader" and you will have one PERFECT DOG!

PLEASE GIVE THIS GIRL A CHANCE.  SHE NEEDS A PERMANENT STABLE HOME WHERE SHE WILL GET A LOT OF LOVE!

Sweet Molly was rescued as a stray along with a younger male look-a-like who we think is her son (Leo - now adopted).  She is appreciative, friendly and eager to please.  Loves to play ball.  She's happy to be where ever you are. She's socialable and enjoys family company but would do best as an only dog. She will get along with another dog given time but she would thrive as an only dog. We have had her fully vetted.  Molly is about 50 or so pounds and strong.
