Esther is a sweet girl that loves head scratches, belly rubs, and snuggles on the couch (or bed if you’ll let her). We think Esther had some trauma at some point in her past, as gaining her trust fully is not something that will happen immediately, but once she knows your routines and knows you have nothing but love for her she will settle in and reward your patience with sweetness. She is a very calm and low energy dog, does great on a leash for walks and has never tried to escape our fenced-in yard. Esther would probably do best having another dog in the house to help her learn routines, but would likely thrive as an only dog as well.
