Hello! My name is Hendrix. Yep, just like the rockstar! Sometimes foster calls me Hendi for short, I like it when she does that. She says I am the cutest and even sweeter than I am handsome. Gosh, I LOVE to eat! I get so excited and I wiggle all over the place, but I am patient and polite about it. When I first came to Proverbs, I was skin and bones which means I still worry about if I will always have food. I do resource guard my food with other animals, but feeding me in a kennel or separate room is a simple solution. I'm a super smart hound who knows “your place” for my kennel, sit, stay and wait. I a also working on the come command. My perfect home would have a big yard where I can enjoy the sunshine and maybe even have a doggo friend to hang out with. I have done well with the dogs and cats in my current foster home. I'm such a good boy. Could you be my person?
