Gracie has honestly been one of the best fosters I’ve had. She is about 14 and came to Proverbs when her mom had to enter a nursing home. You could see the confusion and hurt in her eyes for some time. She could not understand why she was being separated. However, like most things in life, time helped heal her heart. Now, she is happy and greets me with a wagging tail and barks a greeting. She is house trained. She loves to sit next to you and rest her head on my leg. She does take thyroid medication and apoquil with pill pockets easily. She is allergic to chicken so alternate foods are necessary. She can be a bit picky so I use dry and a bit of wet food to encourage her. She will definitely work her way into your heart. All she will need is understanding and some time to adjust. We are honored to have stood in the gap for her mom and an exceptional adopter will be the final piece needed.
