Meet Keke, she is a feisty senior who  likes to walk to the beat of her own drum. Keke loves to explore her foster home. While she is not crazy about being held, she will allow it. Keke prefers her soft dog bed. She is very vocal about when she is hungry or thirsty and will also bark to let you know if she needs to go outside. Keke is accustomed to using potty pads. She would make a dear companion for someone perhaps a senior as well. She has such a presence even though she prefers her personal space. We believe she prefers her space due to her background situation before coming to Proverbs. After her owner died she was neglected left in a bedroom for 5 years no one took care of her. The vet said she had trauma to one eye which left it completely blind & almost blind in the other. She had also sustained other injuries that have since healed. She has poor hearing but is very aware when her foster family is in the room with her. Before her owner passed she was very loved and spent most of her time sitting on the arm of her owner who was wheelchair bound.
