From Joy's foster mom- I have had the pleasure to watch Joy blossom.  Although I have not seen Joyf with kids, I have watched her with baby Jack (beagle puppy). She is very motherly and protective of Jack. Immediately, she took over and has been his protector. She plays with him and corrects him.  Joy is still very young but it has been a pleasure to watch her be gentle and playful with a puppy. I can only imagine she would be gentle with kids as I would think she would think it is her duty to protect them. 

Joy tested positive for heartworms soon after coming into our care. She is available for an adoption trial with a local adopter while she completes treatment . Her last treatment is in April.
