Cayenne is a beautiful girl who was found as a stray. She's super friendly and loves to sit with you. Her favorite pastime is making biscuits! She is doing amazing with dogs now. Trust all the dogs in the foster home now. Shes even been caught snuggling with them lately. Thats huge steps for her! She should be an only cat or in a home with another FIV + cat. FIV is not contagious to humans or dogs. It is only contagious to other cats. How do cats get FIV?The most common route of infection is a deep bite wound from an FIV-positive cat to another cat. It can also betransmitted via blood, in utero and from the milk of an infected mother cat. What are the signs of FIV infection? There are no specific signs of FIV infection. FIV-positive cats have a weaker immune system, so they are more proneto getting infections, such as upper respiratory infections, ringworm and dental disease. Other than that, FIV-positivecats tend to live normal lives and have a normal length of life. She is good with her foster's sons who are 14 and 7. 01/01/2020 (Estimated Birthdate) Adoption fee is waived due to being FIV positive. Cayenne is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines.
