We recently rescued a litter of seven pups from a local kill shelter and we have named them after old time favorite soft drinks.  THIS IS THEIR MOM, SHASTA!  SHE GAVE BIRTH LAST JUNE.   SHE IS THE VERY BEST, TOLERANT, LOVING MOM WHICH GIVES INSIGHT TO HER SWEET AND LOVING, GENTLE AND EASY GOING DISPOSITION.  WE THINK SHE IS A LITTLE OVER A YEAR OLD. SHE REALLY DESERVES A FAMILY TO CALL HER OWN WHERE SHE CAN BE PAMPERED AS AN INSIDE DOG.  PLEASE CONSIDER THIS GREAT GIRL WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO ADOPT.  She is shown in these photos with her litter. We don't know if she is pure bred Golden Ret. or not as we rescued her from the same kill shelter.
