Shih Tzu : : Male (neutered)
This hunk of love is Shane. This boy will pull you in so hard you can’t help but love him. Shane does live in a home with other dogs, BUT would be much happier being in a single dog home. Shane prefers to be the one and only. His biggest issue is that he doesn’t want other dogs in his face and will tell them quickly. He does well with all the cats.
Shane does have a heart murmur. He takes medicine 2x a day. He’s pretty easy about it. We just put it in his wet food and he eats it up. Because of the heart murmur, once in while (had him almost 2 months and only had 1 for me) has these episodes that are called syncope. They only last a few minutes. Here’s a link about it.
Shane is house trained as long as he is taken out regularly. He eats dry and wet food. His ideal home would have someone who would just let him do his own thing, but let him snuggle with them when he so desires. Shane always has his own plans. Lastly, he would do best in a home with no little kids. He’s really an awesome little dude who is ready for his forever home
