Herman truly is a good boy. He needs a loving, patient adopter who will allow him to grow comfortable in his new home. This sweet boy was a  stray puppy who didn’t get the privilege of growing up in a safe, loving environment. There is not a mean bone in his body, but he is insecure. He needs a home which has a couple of outgoing, confident dogs whose examples he can follow. Herman definitely need a fenced yard. 
His perfect adopter would be someone who knows he will not be a snuggle bug, at least not for sometime. He ignores cats which is a plus! 
If you are looking for a dog friend for your dogs, he will be great. Herman will take about a week to come out of his shell. He is kennel trained and doing very well with house training. He reminds us of a child who grew up in an orphanage; he simply needs a compassionate soul who understands him.
