Roscoe is a male three-year-old beagle mix. That is approximately 36 pounds and he’s very active. He would do great with someone that was home all day so he could come in and out all day at his likings, But he also does well staying home all day and he does not chew up his dog beds. When his foster leaves, she turns on music and lights, and he waits patiently for her return.
He loves to play, He’s very ball driven and he definitely would do well in a home with other dogs willing to play with him. We do not believe he would do well in an apartment. He definitely needs a fenced yard. We have not seen him yet try to dig out of our fenced yard, but he loves to run the Fenceline and sniff all over the yard. He does have a large bark. Being a beagle, he never needs to be left outside in the fence unattended for long periods of time. He would love to be a lapdog, of course he’s heavy though! he’s looking for a forever home, someone that will love him as much as he loves you which is a lot! he’s so lovable he knows stay and he goes to bed and sleeps all through the night and He is totally housetrained.
