Shelbie is pure hound dog love! She loves to snuggle, have her floppy ears rubbed, and is always there to greet you at the door. She gets along well with other dogs, does very well with cats and loves our boys (11 & 15 YO). After completing heartworm treatment, she is ready to find her furever home! Currently she is on Vetmedin and Sildenafil to help her heart recover from heartworm infection, but may not need this medication long term. Shelbie is crate trained and house trained, but is food motivated--so don't leave your dinner sitting on the coffee table! Shelbie requires a large fenced in yard because she loves to explore and sniff where critters have roamed (its in her nature after all). We will be extremely sad to see her go--but we feel she is ready to continue her journey and brighten someone else's days and nights with her sweetness and adorable nature.
