This is Dixie Kate! 

Beauty and brains! 

We don’t know her back story, but from my experience with rescues, it’s not a good one. 

I’m pretty sure she was tied outside.
She appears to have never lived INSIDE a home in her entire 7 years of life. 
She CRAVES attention.
Preferably from females although likes my grandson too. 
She will go to Dan, but only if I’m not around. 
She wants to be touching her person at all times. I feel like she does this to keep her anxiety at bay. 
Dixie Kate is truly brilliant. 
She learns new things super fast. She lives to please you. 

I think the ideal home for her would be a single female that is looking for a mostly low maintenance bestie. 
A quiet home with little excitement and someone who is home most the day.  A mom that will take her on walks or just lay around with her. 

She is crate trained and is learning to adapt living with a large pack of dogs. 

Dads, don’t worry… she will come to love and trust you too, it just may take longer!

Dixie Kate deserves her forever home with a loving family.
