Belle is an adorable girl who was rescued from euthanasia at the Memphis shelter by Proverbs two months ago. Thankfully, she is such a sweet soul deserving of a loving family! She has been a blessing to us over the past two months. A little about Belle: she is a six-month-old lab mix who will likely reach around 40-45 lbs as an adult (currently 34 lbs). When available in the coming weeks, she will be up-to-date on all her shots and will be spayed. Belle is great with our two boys (ages 16 & 12), our cat, and other dogs. She particularly gets along well with our adult dog Stella (if you’re looking for a companion for your current dog). Belle remains a little skittish with strangers, but warms up quickly with a biscuit. Six months is a great age to adopt a dog! Belle is still a puppy but has passed most of her “puppy” phase (she has been an easy puppy!). We have done a lot of the work for you! Belle loves walking and exploring, is good on a leash, knows how to sit, and responds well to commands. She is crate-trained and sleeps quietly in her crate all night. She hasn’t had an accident in the house for several weeks now. She is very trainable, especially with treats, and is eager to please. She loves snuggling at night and watching TV with you.
