Meet Piper a laid back 15 lb. ball of fluff and a joy to have as a foster!
Her life as a breeding dog seems to have limited her knowledge of what it is to be a dog, so she is still learning the ropes. She seems unaccustomed to the concept of grass but is slowing adjusting to leaving the concrete patio and walking on the grass. She's good with walking around the house with an attached leash but is unfamiliar with actual leash walking outside. She is treat motivated so with patience and time, this can be overcome.
She is house and crate trained and often heads to her crate as her safe space and willingly goes in her crate when her foster mom leaves the house.
Her favorite part of the day is meal time! She gets all excited during the meal prep process!
She is a snuggle bug on the couch and likes to be near her person. She has mastered going up and down a set of stairs to get on/off the couch.
