Rico is one of about 30 we rescued from a horrific situation. He is shy and scared at first but warms up. He does not like being on a leash. He loves being held and snuggled. Crate trained and working on his potty habits because he is afraid outdoors and needs time to do his business. He will use training pads or newspapers. Rico is 2.5 yrs. old, heartworm negative and now fully vetted. Home without young kids and a fenced yard required. His adoption fee is $150. Rico has become good friends with another Maltese mix male from the same situation named Scooter M. Scooter M is identical in behavior, about 2 yrs old, fully vetted and we have treated him for Heartworm. We would love to keep them together since they are making progress together. We are offering them as a pair for $200. Their adopter must have patience and understand they are a work in progress.
