Meet Patch!

Patch is a sweet, smart, and spirited little guy who’s about 95% potty trained—and he’s not shy about letting you know when it’s time to go out, whether you’re in the car or at home. He’ll even wake you up in the morning with a polite nudge when nature calls.

He’s incredibly affectionate and loves to snuggle, but don’t mistake his cuddly side for laziness—Patch has personality . He keeps things entertaining and is full of goofy charm. 

Patch is impressively smart and very receptive to training.  With consistency, he picks things up fast and wants to please.

He does have a voice and isn’t afraid to use it—he’ll bark at birds, airplanes, cars, and just about any interesting noise, especially in a busy city setting. That said, with time and training, he could definitely improve.

A few important things to know:

Patch is FAST.

He WILL chase cars.

He’s quick as the Roadrunner and will bolt through an open door without hesitation. He absolutely must be on a harness and leash at all times and needs continued training to curb his chasing instinct.

He got along great with a much larger dog (80 lbs!) and enjoyed playing together with zero issues. Patch is gentle, adaptable, and has such a loving disposition. He’s crate-trained, sleeps peacefully in his bed, and will follow you from room to room just to be near you.

Whoever gets to adopt Patch is going to be incredibly lucky—he’s got all the makings of a lifelong best friend.
