Gemma is a high-energy, joy-filled pup who’s always ready to take on the world! A 3-mile hike? Just a warm-up. This girl thrives on activity and affection, making her the perfect companion for an active home that loves walks, playtime, and puppy kisses galore. She’s never met a stranger — humans, dogs, cats, people working on the driveway — everyone is Gemma’s best friend. She hands out kisses like confetti and just wants to be loved by everyone she meets. She rides nicely in the car (just make sure she’s safely strapped in!) and sleeps soundly in her crate at night. House training is going great — she’s had only a few accidents and gives clear cues when she needs to go out, though she likes to take her time finding just the right spot. Gemma also adores toys and keeps herself entertained with whatever she can toss around or chew on. Like any pup, Gemma is still learning how to be her best self. She’s a little jumpy when excited and can give playful “puppy bites” when seeking attention. Her enthusiasm can be a lot, but it’s all puppy behavior that will improve with consistency and training. She’s eager to please and will thrive with someone who’s patient and ready to help her channel all that joyful energy into good manners.
