When Proverbs Director, Lavonne, heard about Beau who was going to be put down, she said, "I really feel lead to take this little guy. He is precious and most likely no other rescue will step up to fix his feet. God love him!" Needless to say, we are caring for beautiful little Bojangles (aka Beau) and his foster reports that he is a great pup, very friendly and happy among her others and doing well on his vitamin regimen. "Here he is," she says, "sleeping on the bed (thinks that's just where he belongs). As you can see, once I started taking pics Banjo being the ham he is, got right in front of Bojangles. Bo is a really loving little boy but doesn't like being put in the pen by himself. As long as he is free to roam the house w/ everyone else, he's happy." Our vet diagnosed Bojangles with rickets affecting his front feet - something he was probably born with. It doesn't seem to hurt, but he tires easily. Since he is only 15 weeks old, it may correct itself in time but worse case scenario is he will need surgery down the line. He is already improving however. Our vet says he is the sweetest pup he's had and his foster says his best friend is her chi, Banjo, who is also available for adoption.
